Mazda MX-5 (90-05) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1990 Pretty much every manufacturer builds a convertible and it was the MX-5 that got us all back into drop-tops in the first place. With rear-wheel drive and sharp, responsive handling, it's fun to drive although it's not hugely powerful. Being a Mazda, it's also superbly reliable and well-engineered. If you're after a fun car then make sure you stick this on your list of possibilities. 4 out of 5 Other Mazda reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 3 out of 5 MG F (95-02) Styling, handling, brand heritage Dated interior, patchy build quality Read full review 4 out of 5 Toyota MR2 (00-06) Super-sharp steering.
