Mazda Premacy (99-04) - Review

Review by Parkers on
Premacy has never really threatened the sales of the Renault Scenic or Citroën Xsara Picasso. The current version does little to change that. A 130bhp 2.0-litre engine adds pace to higher-spec versions, and there's a Sport model with spoilers and skirts.

Buying used

Not a high-volume model, so it's sparse on the open used market. Those in the Mazda network should be the best cars - but they command the highest prices.

Selling

Most buyers opt for the diesel, because it's the best suited to hauling Premacy around, so it commands the highest prices. Auto models fetch £250-£300 more than manuals.
