Mercedes-Benz C-Class Estate (96-01) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 1996 This excellent compact executive estate makes an fine introduction to Mercedes ownership and is a faithful family workhorse. Those high standards of engineering, finish and driver satisfaction don't come cheaply. C-Class may have become realively common, but the Estate is more sought after and there are fewer on the market so prices remain stronger than for the Saloon. Bought as much for its prestigeous image as for its practicality there are bigger estate about but few feel as special. 4 out of 5 Other Mercedes-Benz reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery 3.5 out of 5 Buying used Avoid poorly maintained examples - these are likely to be expensive in the long run. Most offer buyers a taste of high build quality and prestige at a relatively affordable price. Don't buy one if you cant afford to maintain it. 3.5 out of 5 Selling Popular on the used market but needs to be in excellent condition - visible imperfections will put punters off so are worth remedying to achieve best sale.
