Mitsubishi Grandis (04-10) - Review Review by David Ross on 10 September 2005 Last Updated: 23 April 2009 The sharp-looking Grandis is a stylish people carrier that can seat seven thanks to a spacious cabin and clever extra folding seats that disappear into the boot floor. It comes well equipped as standard - making it good value for money, especially as a used buy. There are two engines available but the most popular choice is the 2.0-litre DI-D diesel which is actually a Volkswagen unit. The light steering means it's not enjoyable on twisting roads, but it's surprisingly easy to manoeuvre in town and makes a good long distance motorway car. 3 out of 5 Other Mitsubishi reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4 out of 5 Ford S-MAX (06 on) Huge cabin and boot, fold flat seats, great to drive, well styled, carries seven in comfort Stability control not standard, awkward handbrake, no air conditioning on Edge models Read full review 4 out of 5 Renault Espace (03-12) Stylish appearance, incredibly spacious cabin, can carry seven, easy to drive Thirsty petrol engines, seats don't fold flat Read full review 3.5 out of 5 SEAT Alhambra (00-10) Plenty of interior space, enough room for seven adults, economical diesel engines, solid interior, good value Interior looks a little dated, many newer people carriers are more stylish, seats don't fold flat with the floor Read full review Find other mpv cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
