You can be forgiven for thinking at first glance that the Mitsubishi i is in fact a Smart car. You wouldn't be far off, as the two cars have more in common than just their looks.

Running costs

New buyers can benefit from Mitsubishi's "Service Value Plan". For £100, all your servicing costs are covered for three years. Mitsubishi reckons this will save a buyer around £215 over that time and it's transferable if you sell. That also helps to keep residuals high as buyers will pay extra for the peace of mind that the inclusive servicing provides. It's emissions are also very low which means that it falls into one of the lowest road tax bands. It's light and has a very economical small engine which means buyers can expect up to 55mpg on average.
