It may have a retro look, but the Aero 8 is worlds apart from the old-school Morgans in terms of performance, handling and construction. There's still a bit of wood used in the frame of the body, but the high tech chassis is made of bonded aluminium, and the old Rover V8 has been replaced by a BMW lump that now travels a good deal quicker than it ever did in a BMW. The cross-eyed appearance won't appeal to everyone but there's no denying it's a unique look. A change of headlights in 2005 gives a more conventional look to the front end.
