Summary****-

  • Unrivalled balance of performance, sportscar looks and value for money
  • Not the most practical coupe

Nissan's 350Z has been immensely popular in the UK, although there are relatively few on the road - demand outstripping supply. The car harks back to its revered Datsun 240Z predecessor, combining driving pleasure, sleek looks and an accessible price to appeal to coupe buyers. The 350Z proved that thousands of customers were willing to pay £25,000 and upwards for a car wearing the Nissan badge, and the Z has undergone subtle modifications since its launch to keep pricelists looking fresh. Changes in 2007 include a more powerful engine with keener mid-range performance. The modifications arrive after upgrades in 2006 offered an improved quality interior and factory-fitted satellite navigation option, as well as cosmetic tweaks, such as LED rear lights.
