Nissan 370Z Roadster (10 on) - Review Review by Tim Bowdler on 26 March 2010 The 370Z Roadster delivers brutal performance, engaging handling and - as such - you could argue Nissan has managed to achieve a rare feat, which is to produce a sports car that hasn’t been compromised by the absence of a fixed roof. The 370Z drop top is almost a blast from the past: it’s like a good old-fashioned sports car built to put a smile on your face and the wind in your hair. You couldn't call it agricultural though. It features a range of sophisticated and advanced safety systems and the Synchro Rev Control system that keeps the engine revs at their optimum between gear shifts - a sort of automatic heel-and-toe - is particularly effective. In terms of performance it competes with top-end models like the Porsche Boxster, but it represents far better value for money and comes very well equipped too. 4.5 out of 5 Other Nissan reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Gallery 4.5 out of 5 Equipment Nissan hasn’t been stingy with the standard kit on the 370Z. There are three trim levels - the standard car, GT Pack and GT Ultimate. The entry level model gets electrically adjustable seats, climate control, 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic xenon headlights, an alarm, curtain airbags, a CD stereo with an auxiliary input, Bluetooth, a leather multifunction steering wheel, rain sensitive wipers and an engine start/stop button. The GT Pack adds 19-inch wheels, heated seats trimmed in black suede and leather, a six-CD Bose audio system, cruise control and Synchro Rev Control (on manual cars only). The top-of-the-range GT Ultimate adds Persimmon suede leather along with a DVD sat nav system with full European mapping. The seven-speed automatic is a £1,400 extra while the only other option is metallic paintwork which also gets Nissan's special Scratch Shield paint that automatically repairs light scratches and blemishes. The limited Black Edition comes in either black or quartz metallic paint and gets a unique red leather and suede interior, red interior stitching, sat nav, dark grey 19-inch alloys plus red brake calipers.
