Nissan Almera Tino (00-05) - Review

Review by Parkers on
This Almera hatchback spin-off follows in the same vein as Scenic, Picasso and Zafira. Like most models in this class, it's practical, roomy and fits five with ease. It's well equipped and very user friendly and the ride is good, but there's too much bodyroll when cornering. The steering is precise and manual models have a slick gearchange.

Buying used

Plenty on the open market and at Nissan and independent dealers at tempting prices. 2.2 diesel is most popular. Look out for models with optional 'birds-eye-view sat-nav.

Selling

Specification needs to be good and engine diesel to draw interest - there's a lot of competition in this sector (Renault Scenic, Vauxhall Zafira and Citroen Xsara Picasso are just three of them).
