Nissan Almera Hatchback (00-06) - Review

Review by Parkers on
Underneath the conservative-looking body of the second-generation Almera is a well-built package that's good to drive with precise handling, good fuel economy and a comfortable interior. It's competitively priced and well equipped, so those who don’t mind the anonymous looks can pick up a bargain.

Safety

Four-star Euro NCAP rating is a testament to Almera's structural integrity, but ABS is only standard on some models. Immobiliser and deadlocks on all cars. Higher spec models get remote central locking and anti-hijack function.

Reliability

One of Nissan's strong points and the straightforward, Almera is one of their best. No problems reported from the N-Form dash or any other gadgets. Occasional grumble about loose interior trim.
