Nissan Murano (08-11) - Review

Review by Simon Harris on
Last Updated: 14 December 2010
The first Murano arrived in the UK in 2005 after two successful years on sale in North America. While it was a good 4x4 that drove very much like a car it was hampered by the lack of a diesel engine. This second-generation model (launched in 2008) is a far more polished effort than the original and, thankfully, a 2.5-litre diesel has also been added to the line-up in 2010. The Murano is designed to be more desirable to European buyers with a plusher interior and improved road manners. Aside from that, it handles well with sharp steering and is a great value car with a huge list of standard kit that puts more expensive 4x4s to shame.
