Nissan X-Trail (01-07) - Review Review by Parkers on 01 January 2001 Last Updated: 05 April 2007 X-Trail is better in most areas than most of its rivals. It goes up against the Honda's CR-V and Land Rover's Freelander in the soft-roader category. It cuts the mustard against both of them on the road and has a good range of engines and trim levels. Standard equipment could be better for the price (but there again, so could that of its rivals). 4 out of 5 Other Nissan reviews Summary Facts & Figures Equipment Driving & Performance Comfort Costs Safety & Reliability Buying & Selling Also Consider Company Car Info Owners' Reviews Gallery Also Consider 4 out of 5 Toyota RAV4 (00-05) Nimble handling, funky looks Numb steering Read full review 3.5 out of 5 Land Rover Freelander Hardback (97-03) The badge, frugal Td4 diesel, off-road ability Thirsty V6, quite expensive to buy Read full review 3.5 out of 5 Honda CR-V (01-06) Well built, robust interior, decent passenger space, excellent diesel engine, good to drive Not particularly capable off road, firm ride Read full review Find other 4x4 cars Car Valuations Find used car prices with Parkers accurate car valuations.
