Value
Company Car - Very high fuel consumption for a diesel.
Costs
Poor fuel consumption. 26MPG urban - 38MPG Best so far.

Driving
Outstanding balance and body control spoilt by a hard ride - Run flat tyres are a nonsense.
Performance
Annoying turbo lag which is completely flat at low revs and then catapults you into the back seat when the turbo cuts in - Not pleasant.

Living with it
Reliability
Broken down 3 times so far. Loose trim. Parking sensor has just developed a fault. Clutch rubber (pedal cover) fell off last night. Amazing array of warning lights which disappear if you turn it off and turn it on again.

Looks the part with the M styling pack (a huge mount of people think it's an M5). Too much interest from thieves and car jackers. Not worth the hassle - Buy a Primera!
Comfort
Sports seats are good. Very low seating position. Not easy to get in and out of.

Someone has already tried a screwdriver in the boot lock. It was deadlocked - They didn't get in.

BMW dealers remain as arrogant and incompetent as ever.
