Had the new shape (2010) as a courtesy car. It was fabulous, a marked improvement on this model, so YES.

Maybe a 730d Sport or back to Mercedes I'm afraid.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Trade in value for my Mercedes was not good, but we met at a good retail price on this car.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Pristine example in the right spec.

What was the dealer like?

Very pleasant gentleman. A refreshingly pleasant person to deal with.

What's it like to drive?

Drives like a sports car. Fabulous drive when pushed hard.

What's it like to park?

Fairly simple to park, but would be much easier if the PDC was a little faster at reacting. If you adjust your driving by parking slower, the PDC catches up and then very easy to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Battery has been discharged twice for no apparent reason, even though it was replaced 12 months ago! Got a new one under the guarantee and still same problem. 24 hour diagnostic revealed no problem with car. But OK now after a full charge. You wouldn't get this in a Mercedes!

What's most practical about your car?

Size of boot.
