Value
Get a GT bodykit, alloy wheels, a spoiler, electric windows, remote central locking, a nice dash and decent interior - not bad under a grand.
Costs
I spent £800 on a sound 96 model, only thing I have spent out on is a new drive shaft (£30) and and exhaust (£60) which wasn't in dire need.

On the road
Driving
I got me some wide wheels, although it grips the road and handles very well (and can pull some amazing handbrakes) there is way to much body roll.
Performance
One of the best things about this car. Off the lights it can beat virtually any 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and is more than a small irritant to 1.4s. Even after 70, it is impressive.

Hasn't broken down. Sometimes when the enginge is warm when it is off, it has some starting troubles.

Yeah not bad for short journeys. Kinda get a bit unconfortable though.
