What does this car say about you?

I'd like to think it has some French chic but in reality it probably marks me out as a miser.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They laugh.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I bought it for a purpose to which it is perfectly suited, if it were to be stolen tomorrow (could happen) then I would buy another in a shot. But, when the need for an ultra cheap, ultra frugal car evaporates I would definately look elsewhere.

What are you likely to buy next?

Equivalent but nicer (Audi A2?). If it survives a year or so I won't need such a pump dodger any more so I would most likely look at an MX5 for some B road fun.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Seemed okay deal at the time but could have bought for less if I'd gone direct to the auction and cut out the middle man who washed the car and doubled the price.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed cheap to run vehicle for daily commute

What was the dealer like?

What's it like to drive?

Fun handling but slow. Understeers but you'll never be going fast enough to get into trouble.

What's it like to park?

Difficult to park due to heavy non-assisted steering but visibility is good as long as some rotten swine hasn't knocked your wing mirrors.

Have you had any problems with the car?

No. Though need to keep an eye on oil and coolant.

What's most practical about your car?

Very economical. I've covered over 6000miles in the car and averaged 72+mpg on mixed roads (driving in SE to and from Greater London so a lot of stop-start motoring).
