  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Fairly solid surprisingly. Nippy enough in towns, easy to park, would sit at a decent speed on the motorway. Bit light, so would sway a little when you passed through the wake of a lorry or something big. Funnily enough, not bad off road. Kept up with a Toyota 4x4 with a bit of gutsy driving in the dark in the wilderness outside Ulaan Bataar. Drove through flooded rivers that took out a concrete bridge. Dealt with the heat in the Gobi Desert. Just kept going.

    What's it like to park?

Not bad, small enough to get into pretty tight spots.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Couple of bits went wrong. Handbrake needed sorting at an MOT. Exhaust pipe came off the end of the backbox so the exhaust came through the boot.

What's most practical about your car?

Good fuel economy. Very cheap insurance. Seemed to be very reliable. Had done 100,000 miles when I bought it, and still started first time, every time.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Put new speakers and stereo in.
