What does this car say about you?

    Unsure; don't care.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Girlfriend doesn't like it, friends laugh at it, parents seem to think I'm a bit mad spending money on it - somehow I think they like it, though.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes, I just really like them.

What are you likely to buy next?

Mixed thoughts; Ford Escort van top of my list at the moment.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Didn't buy from a dealer

Did you buy this car new?

    No

    What price did you pay?

    £200

When did you buy the car?

    July 2012

Did you get a good deal and why?

I felt I got a good deal. It was taxed and tested for six months when I bought it(€200). If I went for a Micra of the same year with the same amount of tax and test I would have to part with around €750.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I'm quite fond of the Cinquecento. They are a cool looking car and they are in the cheapest tax and insurance bracket in Ireland.

    What was the dealer like?

    N/A

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Its a tad noisy and the steering is a bit heavy but you can't really expect a silky smooth drive. I clocked 90 mph on the motorway a few times; shakes really bad though.

    What's it like to park?

Good; but the lack of power steering may be a problem for some.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

Just wear and tear items which were cheap to mend/replace; haven't had any major problems with it.

What's most practical about your car?

Fuel economy is superb; its easy to maneuver when parking, although the lack of power steering may be a problem for some.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Very basic cars, with very few options. I like the dashboard layout, if that counts.
