• Summary

What does this car say about you?

I like relatively cheap but reliable cars.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Impressed by the number plate as much as the car.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes - because it is economical to run, very reliable, and has the carrying capacity I need.

What are you likely to buy next?

It's my wife's shopping car - she really likes it, so it will probably be replaced by another Jazz.

Type of dealer you bought from?

    Franchised

Did you buy this car new?

    Yes

    What price did you pay?

    £16,000

When did you buy the car?

    September 2015

Did you get a good deal and why?

A reasonable deal - this was a run-out car at the end of the MK2 run so the dealer was very happy to sell it.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Economy, space, ease of driving, had a Mk1 Jazz before.

    What was the dealer like?

Very helpful sales dept. Pre-delivery inspection rather flaky - front wheel alignment miles out. This problem not picked up at first service either. (I subsequently had the front wheels aligned at a specialist workshop.).

  • Driving it

    4 out of 5 4.0

    What's it like to drive?

Frugal, reasonably comfortable, good road holding, suspension is hard/bouncy (not as comfortable as the MK1 Jazz). Seems under powered compared with the MK1 Jazz.

    What's it like to park?

    Easy - it's a small car.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

No mechanical problems. This was a run-out car so I guess the quality control department at the factory were on holiday. Front wheel alignment miles out. Paint round the edge of some panels microscopically thin.

What's most practical about your car?

Large space available when the rear seats are folded down.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

    Automatic air conditioning.
