May 2010 Did you get a good deal and why? Car ordered to my spec via a car broker. Bought my car as 2nd owner when 1 day old. Is there any special reason why you bought this car? Decent driving diesel with traditional auto gearbox. Good value via broker. What was the dealer like? Very knowledgable - he knew about the updated spec cars (as mine is) when delaers could not tell me. Broker did exactly what they said they would, did a good deal including trade in and car is fine. Handling is very agile - almost as good as a Focus. Steering is light but a bit "dead" (ie little feedback). ride is good. Performance is good for a 1.6 diesel. Gearbox is smooth but can be a bit slow on the uptake - takes a bit of getting used to. Seat comfort is OK - not the best (for me) but on the other hand we have also travelled 200+ miles with 5 adults in surprising comfort. Wish it was quieter - mine suffers wind & road noise - maybe the standard fit Hankook tyres are part to blame. What's it like to park? No problem. Steering is light. Visinility not the best though. Living with it 4 out of 5 Have you had any problems with the car? Clonks from front suspension in cold weather - corrected by dealer. Minor issue with radio - new radio fitted. What's most practical about your car? Does everything we can reasonably expect it to. Favourite gadget, option or accessory? Hmmm. Best accessory is the winter tyres I used for 3 months - with Michelin Alpin A4's this car went all places at good pace and was never dug out or pushed. Quite fantastic performance for an auto.
