What does this car say about you?
HMM. Guess I like the retro look. This car is elegant & really looks nothing like the standard S Type..low sleek de chromed black as night inside. Huge alloys. metalflake paint (standard I ain't no poser!).
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it! Think it is a classic..& quite elegant in a retro way.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Absolutely!! Very few of this model around. Thought I would try an XF but nah! too much like a Mondeo. Guess this one ids for keeps.
What are you likely to buy next?
Hmm. Perhaps a Caterham or TVR for summer use. Not gonna let go of the Jag.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes. Just out of warranty with low miles. Threw in alloy refurb all round & 3 year warranty!!
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Family owned Jaguar from SS through XK150 & E Type to my S Type.
What was the dealer like?
Very easy to deal with. As a Honda dealer they were happy to take my top spec Accord in PX.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Smooth, quiet, fast steering response. Drives like a compact car soooooo relaxing. Put it into Sport mode you are in OMG city!!.
What's it like to park?
Hmm. Well depends how good a driver you are!. Long bonnet & on THIS model R body kit so it is Low Low Low. Watch out for speed bumps! You will bottom out if not careful & that is NOT nice I can tell you. VERY low clearance with the front spoiler. Very expensive to repair if you hit a kerb Still, it is only money & I have a great bodyshop nearby.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Just replaced front wishbones. Nothing else.
What's most practical about your car?
Fast as you like (think mine has been remapped....far too fast for a standard model) BUT it will happily do the weekly shopping without complaint. An open country road....well that is a different matter. Boom!!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The car is a stripped down S Type . Black leather, no gaudy wood dashboard . All R extras. Lovely!
