Summary

5 out of 5

What does this car say about you?
Likes well built reliable vehicles to carry and tow whatever we want, wherever we want and immensely practical.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
All love it so far. Looks much better in the flesh than in pictures. Everyone comments on the comfort, smooth ride and handling for such a big vehicle.

Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes definitely but Chrysler have dropped it from range which is a shame. However feels like it is built to last a long time. Could not face the lottery of an unreliable Land Rover

What are you likely to buy next?
Not sure. Disco and Toureg overpriced so may have to move down market to Kia.

Driving it

5 out of 5

What's it like to drive?
Smooth, quiet and comfortable on road despite all terrain tyres. Fantastic secure feeling in the recent ice and snow. Some official reviews say it does not handle as well as road biased vehicles like the X5 but they run on low profile road tyres so no surprise as not comparing like for like. Those pretty wheels and tyres meant a friends X5 couldn't get down his road in the snow which makes it pointless having a 4x4!! Amazing what it will do off road. Mercedes engine and gearbox very refined in all conditions and accelerates well to a high top end for a diesel 4x4.

What's it like to park?
Very easy as it is square with good visibility and has sensors front and rear plus a rear view camera.

Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?
Absolutely nothing so far and talking to other owners they appear very robust.

What's most practical about your car?
Space, comfort and all weather all terrain ability. Good mpg for such a big vehicle and good performance.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Difficult but stereo and dvd get the kids vote I like the sat nav, heated seat, parking camera and the sophisticated all wheel drive system
