Good second hand buy now as B.M.W and Merc have the badge.
Costs
On a run I have been getting 31.9 mpg and around town between 24 and 27.

Driving
It's my first 4x4, quickly got used to the extra bit of body roll that you get with vehicles this size.
Performance
Awesome torque, pulls away really well and cruises well at 70 to 90 mph.

Living with it
Reliability
Hasn't let me down, yet. Since Jeep started fitting the Mercedes gear box and engines the reliability has improved tremendously.

Still a head turner. Mine is Patriot Blue which, when waxed and polished, looks the business.
Comfort
Superb leather seats, heated for the cold. One critisism would be that the rear legroom is slightly cramped.

Bought with full service history and 1 year warranty from main dealer in Birmingham. The service was good.
