We were presented with an incredible deal by our dealer, MB of Bedford, and one which offered an excellent car for a moderate price - get down there now and ask for Alex! PS, anyone thinking of a BMW? You get more with this, and the steering wheel
Costs
Whilst the running cost are higher than other makes, (and the dealership never made any secret of the different servicing bills) you should try and budget, buy a car in warranty or pop round to another make - I've owned a Ford, but only once!

On the road
Driving
The most wonderful, sedate and cultured driving experience we have ever had. This car is a real pleasure in which to make any journey, especially long ones (even if I don't have to make the journey!)
Performance
This is a family car, not a Ferrari. There is enough acceleration for joining motorways, overtaking and pulling away at junctions (and all of it safely) - which is what it is designed to do!

Living with it
Reliability
When I need the car it starts, when I drive the car it does as I ask, and when I park the car at night the lights stay on for a few seconds so that I can find my front door! Fantastic!

This is one for the terminally insecure, I think.
Comfort
Absolutely superb. Four adults (blokes) went to Heathrow and Twickenham in this car and as far as the family is concerned it is the smoothest, quietist and most gentle drive we have ever owned.

Security
Brilliant - I had to retrieve the spare keys because the car wouldn't surrender the originals due to small child closing door after thick father had let said child play with keys and place them on the seat!
Service
MB of Bedford - they are just fantastic. They made us feel really welcome and managed to put eveything together in 24 hours - went in to see the car on a Thursday and drove the thing away on the Friday with finance included -amazing!
