Wouldn't have wanted to shell out the original £43k that somebody did after decimating the options list! Not bad second hand if you buy privately.
Costs
Local dealership charge £105 per hour labour! Returns around 23mpg. Not for the faint-hearted.

Smooth V6 engine is effortless. One or two blind spots if you're over 6 foot though!
Performance
Pretty decent, although there can be a serious delay from the auto box if you need to do something rapid.

One or two build quality problems to say the least. This car had its dashboard off 4 times in a year under warranty for the same fault!

Merc image is a bit smug in general, preferable to BMW aggression though.
Comfort
Mercs have the best driver legroom bar none. That's why some people complain about the room in the back. Good supportive seats. Recommended.
