Picked up mine for £16k which, for all the gadgets it has, I consider a bargin.

9000-mile service is around £100, 18,000-mile is around £200.

Easy to drive and you feel safe and in control when driving it.
Performance
Nice midrange power. Quiet for a 4wd.

Touch wood, been fine so far (nothing can be any worse than the Freelander I part exchanged it for!)

I like the shape and prefered it to the RAV4 and CRV, but my other half took a while to get used to it!
Comfort
Very comfy seats fit you well and the adjustable lumbar support is good. Nice airy cabin and loads of room for the kids.
