  • Economy

    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

Not a bad initial package, but depreciation is steep. MPG is good, servicing is expensive (even when only every 20k miles).

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

    Covered under value above.

  • On the road

    Driving

    4 out of 5 4.0

Seats are not very comfortable, but apart from that I have no complaints with visibility, accessibility of controls or driving position. Driver 'feedback' is excellent.

    Performance

    4 out of 5 4.0

Cornering and braking are excellent. Engine is lively above 3500rpm, but not outstanding.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Poor build quality. Uneven gaps between boot and rear wings. Indicator switch went wrong (and took MONTHS to fix). CD skips Intermittently. Front brakes squeal and needed skimming at 20k.

    Looks nice.

    Comfort

    3 out of 5 3.0

Seats do not give enough support, but headroom is fine (I'm over 6') but a little tight in the back.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    5 out of 5 5.0

    Good alarm with no problems.

    Service

    2 out of 5 2.0

Initial dealer was very slow to fix faults. Last service was done by another Peugeot dealer who was more helpful.
