Did you get a good deal and why?

Reasonable price and fair P/E on my old Renault Vel Satis.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Higher seating position, seat comfort, economy and practicality.

What's it like to drive?

Relaxed and surprisingly flexible and eager once you have reached about 20mph. Will climb almost any hill in 5th and 6th provides very relaxed cruising. Ride is good and noise levels are low. Automated manual gearbox is better than some reviews suggest. depends on your driving style. If it is fairly relaxed then the changes are smooth. Under harder acceleration it can lurch a little - but this is avoided if you use the manual paddles. In general it is as smooth as the average manual.

What's it like to park?

Pretty good. Fairly high rear window but comes with parking sensors which helps. Quite compact so fits into average spaces quite easily.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Had it 6 months and have done around 4000 miles. No problems or issues so far.

What's most practical about your car?

Great boot space and flexibility. Very good economy - around 55mpg even with the automated manual gearbox.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Mine has lovely pale grey leather interior. This plus the full length glass roof makes it a very pleasant place to be in. Also has optional sat nav and front and rear parking sensors.
