  • Summary

What does this car say about you?

I'm practical and like something different.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

They think it looks fab for its age. As is typical with Peugeots (I've owned 3 Pugs) they always seem to retain nice shiny paintwork regardless of how old they are.The alloy wheels never oxidise and are nearly as new!. My Pug always scrubs up a treat and looks much younger than her number plate suggests! Friends were surprised how comfy and good the car is to drive.

Would you buy this car again and why?

    Definately

What are you likely to buy next?

A newer Peugeot 307, or 308 (if I can afford one).

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

Great car. I'd never looked at a 307 before purchasing this one - but having driven it I was smitten. Feels like a big car but with handling of smaller car (despite being as tall as some small MPVs). Very comfy - better than some big German saloons. Great ride and road manners. Half leather seats with arm rests are a great touch. Not the sportiest car out there but its 2.0HDi 110 BHP engine packs a punch mid range. A very pleasant car to drive and own and what's more it has never let me down. If you have never driven one I urge you to do so - I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised.

    What's it like to park?

    Very easy.

  • Living with it

Have you had any problems with the car?

So far been the most reliable car I've owned few little probs commensurate to age and mileage of the car but nothing major. Dealer sold car without working climate control - offered discount repair or for me to give car back with full refund. I chose to take advantage of the discount as I liked the car and wanted to keep it.

What's most practical about your car?

Very spacious boot (especially with rear seats folded flat). Cabin is also deceptively large.Plenty of storage cubbies and under seat trays, plus a permanently live 12 volt socket in the boot which comes in very handy indeed. Car seems to have been very well thought out.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It has a great spec too including Half leather seats, cruise control, climate control, auto lights and wipers, remote audio steering controls, electric windows all round, remote central locking, chilled glove box, automatically folding wing mirrors and full closure system (will automatically shut all your windows if you have left them open) every time you lock the car from your remote. Simply love all of these little touches - they make life easier.
