Value
CD multiplayer, alloys, air con etc for £3000 less than the Mondeo!
Costs
Fairly economical on fuel unless air con on, exhaust expensive (£120 for rear pipe).

Driving
Well positioned dials, visibility hindered by wide roof struts at front. Reasonable stereo and speakers. Good stability and although slow from a standing start, fun to drive.
Performance
Sluggish on pulling away, but good in higher gears.

Reliability
No real issues, but exhaust needed replacing and original battery died.

Nice lines and good looks, credibility helped by its TOCA success.
Comfort
Comfortable seats, multiple seat positions, but steering wheel high which takes a bit of getting used to. Fairly quiet.

Immobiliser but no alarm. Key fob lock pretty insensitive.

Never used manufacturer, just the Car-Supermarket garage.

Couple of sensor failures, but that was due to a dud battery.

Stereo died, but both multiplayer and head replaced without fuss.
