Mostly respected, but it's no stunner.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Perhaps an Estate model with a larger engine, I think a 2.2DTI estate would be nice. The practicality must be awesome.
What are you likely to buy next?
Passat TDI or BMW 520.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handles well through the back roads, very agile for size of car. Extremely stable at speed. Good high-end performer, 0-60 impressive. Huge torque.
What's it like to park?
Easy enough, if you know how to drive properly then anything's easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Anti-roll drop-links needed replacing, driver's side lock doesn't work.
What's most practical about your car?
The huge boot, the comfortable seating, the car seats 5 adults with luggage.
