What does this car say about you?
Economical but with a bit of style
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Impressed with the car and surprised when I tell them it's age and very high milage.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I was very tempted to buy another Laguna, especially as it still looks good after 15 years. In fact I was very reluctant to leave it with the white paintwork still gleaming in the scrapyard two days ago.
What are you likely to buy next?
Renault Scenic this evening.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Best car I've ever owned and I've had Renalts 16, 18 and Savanah in the past. bargin proce from dealer due to the high milage (140,000).
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Originally looking for a small estate, but bought Laguna due to bargin price offered by dealer due to high milage(140,000 miles)
What was the dealer like?
Helpful and sorted out any problems under waranty. Main business car spares and repairs, just happened to have teh Laguna in.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great,it handles well, has very good breakes and is generally responsive. Idela crusing along motorways and trunk roads, a bit big to squeeze through narrow city streets
What's it like to park?
The Laguna is big so difficult to fit into small spaces, however the power stearing is very helful and makes parking a lot easier. The rear spolier was obstructing the rear view so I took it off as it was making the Laguna difficult ot reverse.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Starter motor failed just after I bought it but was replaced FOC under dealer waranty. Heater's performance as deteriorated has been poor after 200,000 miiles. Has started to be difficult to get into first gear just recently
What's most practical about your car?
Very reliable and easy to drive. Still goes like a rocket after 280,000 miles
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Electric widows and mirrors.Controls for radio on stearing wheel. Adjustable hight steering wheel.
