Value
Initially excellent value until it goes out of warranty and then costs more then £4000 to repair.
Costs
Although it is a lease car, I know it has cost thousands in repairs and tyres.

Not too bad. Bit of body roll but generally sure footed.
Performance
Average. It is no where near a german 1.9 diesel.

Where do I start... Intercooler, gearbox, clutch, turbo, oil & hydraulic leaks but no electical faults !

Still looks nice although it doesn't quite carry the German prestige.

Excellent on long journeys.

Unless the diagnostic computer tells the garage what is wrong, they have no idea. Some dealers are much worse then others.

Intercooler went at 61000, Turbo Failed at 88000. Now has a major oil leak.
Other
Who ever says the the Renault 1.9 dci engine is superb has obviously never owned one.
