Economy
Value
Bought when 6 months old, so someone else took the from-new depreciation. Privilege spec with extras does give a lot for the money I paid.
Costs
Spent nothing on it yet as under 18 months old. Fuel consumption can be 50mpg on a decent run, but not so good around town. Haven't had to replace tyres yet at close to 18k miles, but i'm a very light footed driver.

On the road
Driving
Generally nice to drive, but acceleration from standing (especially with a cold engine) is appalling. Ride is also a bit wallowy and car seems to jump about when it hits a pothole or grid.
Performance
As noted above, acceleration from standing start is poor, to the point of being dangerous when trying to pull away at junctions. However, once in 2nd gear it goes well and flies on the motorway.

Living with it
Reliability
No majot problems, but a lot of niggling things so it's had half a dozen trips to the dealer to fix them.

I think it looks good and they seem to be popular, with lots out on the roads now.
Comfort
Seats are some of the most comfortable I've sat in, and the close contact headrests are great (although a bit rattly). Steering wheel positioning and instrument layout good. Very easy to drive long distances.

Can't really comment, but it hasn't been broken into or stolen after 18 months. Has a good range of security features, including double-locking on doors.

Rear door that failed to unlock, electric wing mirrors that didn't fold in when they should then folded in whilst driving along, glovebox lid that rattled, problem with keyless starting.
