Would you buy this car again and why?
absolutely. Although i'm comparing from a reasonalby low base (my last car was a slightly rattly old-style megane), both my wife and i really love this car--> just had a baby, so love all the little storage bits and the in-built sunshade and all the SPACE- i can chuck in a stroller, a guitar, an amp and a suitcase with no problem. i also love the cabin- great proportions, minimal, elegant dash. Great comfort, (resting my right arm on the deep window sill is great); good cloth and styling (dark grey with slightly shiny threads). I COULD go on, but don't want to risk sounding like a fake...I also liked the Citroen Picasso, but only four stars for safety--if you've been in a crash, you'll want it as high as poss- the Scenic is 5 star
What are you likely to buy next?
depends on budget- wouldn't mind a family BMW, if they do a really fuel-efficient one. otherwise an even more plush Scenic- bring on the leather...

why Scenic? had a megane, liked it and 5 star safety.
What was the dealer like?
national franchise- fine, but poor follow-up, emails unanswered, touch-up stick not delivered as promised. no big deal though.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Good to drive: 106bhp gets you to 60mph in a decent amount of time. Really quiet at all speeds. 6th gear is great! Loads of light, room, digital speedo is great (took me just 30 seconds to start loving it!)
What's it like to park?
surprisingly easy- i really have to say that the Scenic manages to feel really roomy but not at all ungainly.

loads of space; efficient diesel engine; great storage.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
the easy handbrake- just a quick flick is all i need: particularly good in hilly S. Shropshire!
