The car says I am a sensible owner driver but also boring.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Very impressed with the comfort, space and view.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I had to go back to 2004 I would definitely buy this car again but my next car will be a Volvo xc60 and hopefully it will be as good as the Scenic.
What are you likely to buy next?
Volvo xc60 which has had great reviews and with the Drive models is fairly fuel efficient considering the type of car.

I bought the car from Makro stores.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Safety, space and good reviews from motoring mags.
What was the dealer like?
No problems.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very easy to drive with great steering and stability and if wanted a fair turn of speed can be achieved if taken to the red line.
What's it like to park?
For a larger car it is easy to park with plenty of all round vision but beware of the front spoiler on high kerbs.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
This car has had to have new ignition coils as have most owners. I replaced all 4 with a £38 set from ebay and have had no problems with them. No other problems apart from noisy wipers when not enough rain on screen but I still have the original wipers.
What's most practical about your car?
Very spacious and very easy to remove the rear seats with plenty of seat and steering wheel adjustment. My car had air con fitted as standard which is a big bonus for me. I tend to leave the rear seats off the car and this gives a much better fuel consumption and better performance. 40 mpg is easily achieved if driven with care.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The air con is my favourite but also the sound system with its controls by the steering wheel.
