What does this car say about you?

I don't care what anyone who judges people by the car they drive thinks.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

    The family love it.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes - we're very happy with it, and ordinary cars feel cramped in comparison.

What are you likely to buy next?

Too early to say - we kept the last one for 13 years and who knows what will be on the market in 2025.

    £8,500

When did you buy the car?

    August 2011

Did you get a good deal and why?

No special deal - there weren't many of this model on the market, so I don't think the dealers had to try very hard to shift them.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Fuel economy, affordable insurance, space, reliability, value for money.

    What was the dealer like?

    Adequate

  • Driving it

    What's it like to drive?

The 1.4 diesel has plenty of torque and pulls strongly at low revs. It cruises comfortably at motorway speeds, although the fuel consumption increases markedly above 70 mph. The unnecessarily shiny trim around the air vents creates distracting reflections.

    What's it like to park?

It's fairly easy to park, though the sloping bonnet makes it hard to judge where the front is.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The parking sensors failed at 25,000 miles and were fixed under warranty. One door strap came loose but was also fixed under waranty. It's somewhat prone to rattles.

What's most practical about your car?

The huge interior space and flexible seating, and 55 or so mpg. The seats are firm but comfortable and all 5 are adjustable. The high seats and big windows give everyone a good view out, especially the kids in the back.

    Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The enormous glass roof! The MP3 input to the sound system is popular with the family.
