What does this car say about you?

Stylish, modern and cares about how much cars cost to run nowadays. You get some obscure comments but it shows you, you don't care. Especially after you tell them the figures! I love that its different as you get looks. Im male and both me and my partner loves it.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Family understand and can't believe how low cost it is to run. Friends are always mixed feelings but it's the type of car you buy if your brave and don't care.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Free tax on 1.0 VVT-I models, cheap insurance, costs £35 to fill at £130.9. You get about 350 miles from full and that's about 62.0mpg!! I think this explains why I would buy it again! Because it's stylish its good for people my age (25).

What are you likely to buy next?

It's shared between me and my gf so she's buying a new Fiesta in a year so I'll definitely be keeping this car for many years to come. Currently out on the market, nothing comes close to the IQ. A manufacture will have there work cut out if they want to design a better, more efficient, low cost but stylish car. I find that owning a car like this cuts above all the similar horrible designs currently on the market. All the horrible back ends of modern cars/silly dash concepts. The IQ is the best buy you'll even make. It makes sense in this current climate.

    What's it like to drive?

Great now I've improved the handling with Eibach springs all round. Nibble enough to turn in it's own length - very handy when going to wrong way.

The best in it's class. You can park horizontal in a parallel space if you get it right - which looks strange but is utterly tremendous.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Egr valve recall - fixed under warranty. Models 2010 downwards are effected causing it to stall or hesitate at junctions. Toyota Iq Owners club covers this & Toyota are aware of thus fault. Best to get it over with under warranty.

What's most practical about your car?

Flip down the seats and in goes the shopping - very quick and easy. Parking in a space the wrong way - just because it fits.

The trip computer is ideal. Tells you the outside temp, clock, mpg, mpg average, trip miles, overall miles & loads more. This way you can keep a eye on the economy of the IQ 24/7.
