I am annoyed that you can only buy a hard-top with AC when the car is new. My car already has air con and they cannot (will not) sell me a hard top. Costs 4 out of 5 Basic servicing costs are reasonable, but extra work can be pricey. Driving 5 out of 5 Like driving a go-kart on the road! Fantastic fun - just be careful in the wet! Performance 4 out of 5 The chassis yearns for a bit more power. Still good though, when you consider the price. Reliability 5 out of 5 It's a Toyota. 'Nuff said. Image 5 out of 5 Much less of a 'hairdressers' car than the MG or Mazda. I cannot believe how many people comment on what a great-looking car it is. In the right colour (metallic blue!), you cannot help looking back at it as you walk away! Comfort 4 out of 5 It's a sporty, fun drive. Does excactly what it says on the tin - You want 'comfort', buy a Mondeo! Get an Insurance Quote We've gathered the biggest companies on the market in one place to save you money. Service 3 out of 5 My wife has taken the car in several times to have minor glitches looked at and has been, without fail, patronised in the extreme, making it clear they doubted what she said, until it was obvious that she was correct. Very helpful afterwards. Problems Bodywork Very, very soft paintwork - scratches incredibly easily and very prone to stone chips. Not what you would expect from Toyota. Engine Nothing serious - a strange noise coming from the alternator drive-belt is all I can think of. Gearbox - Other All four tyres cracked badly after 11,000 miles. Dealer refused to let us drive the car when he saw them. Bridgestone paid 70% of replacement cost. Also annoying rattles in interior. Ownership Did you buy the car new?
