Value
Nowadays it a good value buy second hand and will go on for 200k not a problem.
Costs
Cheap to buy parts, loads at the scrap dealers aswell to buy new panel and parts.

Driving
Load of miles and loads of use, but still drives like new, especially gearbox which is nicer than a lot of modern cars.
Performance
Slow up hills (which there are lots in Cornwall) but ideal for cruisin round, lovely to drive

Older looking, but still curvy and not to dated, nice black interiors in some models

Not the best comort, 176k on the clock so seats are a bit worn down!!!

None recevied, the Astra is easy to work on and all servicing such as brakes etc can be done at home

Windscreen wiper motors are pron to packing up, but bound to after car has been to the moon and back!
