Quite stable on the motorway, alright downtown.

The engine feels a bit weak. 16v might be better?

Bought the car 4 years old, was regularly serviced, had engine problems from the start.

I like the design, however it looks like not many young people drive Vauxhall Astra.

Service
They show off a lot with their Network Q guarantee, but the car was not in good condition upon purchase, so they had to fix a couple of things for me first. Extended guarantee is very expensive.

Intermittent engine problems upon startup. After switching off and on again, it works fine.
Other
Rear window heating not very efficient - takes long to clear. Wing mirrors not very well protected from water.
