Great car for the money. Could do with more safety kit.

Economical Eco-Tec engines.

Driving
Lotus tuned suspension make put it a class above for handling. Steering is sharp and smile-inducing on corners.
Performance
My 1.6 16v got quicker after about 40k miles. The engines are torquey and perfom well.

Reliability
No major faults in 80,000 miles. Used for hard, high mileage work and was a solid, well built work horse.

A bit common, but unpretentious. Look better in sporty guise.
Comfort
Driving position a bit cramped for the long legged, but seats supportive and rear legroom is excellent. Boot is massive (amongst biggest in class - 370 litres).
