What does this car say about you?

This car has taught me that despite years of buying experience it is still possible to be sold a dud. In future I will endeavour to be even more careful when choosing.

It was a bad buy.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I still like the Astra design. It can't possibly be so popular if every car ran like the one I own.

2lt Mondeo diesel or Skoda.

Did you get a good deal and why?

No it was not a good deal. The car has extensive rust underneath which was not identified. 6 months after purchase I have had to replace alternator, battery, glow plugs, relay.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Wanted a diesel for motorway driving.

What was the dealer like?

Persuasive.

What's it like to drive?

It drives smoothly and runs well. It does not have too much noise on motorway.

What's it like to park?

Really easy. A joy to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Yes, 6 months after purchase I have had to replace alternator, battery, glow plugs, relay. It has been the most unreliable car I have ever owned in 20 years of motoring.

What's most practical about your car?

Good mpg.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Sports seats.
