Value
Perhaps a little more expensive than the competition (Mondeo) but I think a better car.

Incredible fuel economy and little else to worry about.

Very competent. Everything you could want in a family saloon.
Performance
Not THE slowest, but keeps up with the rest of the traffic and it can overtake slow things. If you buy this type of car, you're not expecting sportscar performance though.

Reliability
I've had no problems except with the remote locking when I fitted a non-standard CD player. Stick to the VDO units.

Solid, family-type image, better looking than most.

Great, once you get used to the odd seats. Better than my old BMW 5-series anyway.
