OK to buy but been expensive in service.

Continuous brake problems. Total cost £1100.

Everything in the right place and well laid out.
Performance
Fairly brisk and fairly economical. Not one of Vauxhall's better engines but way better than the terrible 1.7 before it.

Reliability
Never failed us but at what a price. PAS Pump dropped pressure. Total nightmare to change. New ABS, new master cylinder, 2 sets of new disks (8k miles between them!) fuel spill pipes must be changed every three years or air locks will result.
