Wanted a cheap motorway cruiser with good fuel economy and but cheap to buy

Great on motorway. Cruises lovely

pretty easy

Have you had any problems with the car?
Loads wrong when i bought it. Brakes didn't work properly, spring needed replacing, rocker cover gasket neeeded replacing. Car uses 1 litre of oil every 700 miles!
What's most practical about your car?
The economy
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise Control which I fitted myself. Just a case of replacing the normal indicator stalk with one with cruise buttons on the end. This is only possible on diesel vauxhalls around this age
