Yes I would. I think the VW Golf is the best hatchback on the market. It's practical, well built, economical and fun to drive.

Got some freebies added to the car, which always helps.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Have been a huge fan of the Golf since the 90's and had the pleasure of owning and driving the earlier incarnations.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was excellent. Can't praise the Sales Team enough at JCT600 VW Wakefield. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Kept me well informed from ordering the car right upto collection.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Superb. Previously had a Mark 6 Golf and the Mark 7 is in a different league. The car feels a lot more agile and the steering feels lighter and more rsponsive than the Mark 6.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park now that I have front and rear parking sensors.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It's brand new, can't say anymore with regards to this.
What's most practical about your car?
Lots of leg room for a tall person like me. Comfortable seats and a big boot. Also for the first time on the Golf, this car has stop/start technology and fuel economy is the most important factor when I decided to get this car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
It has to be the touch screen radio. It's simply superb and much better than the one that I had in the Mark 6. This car also lets you know if you are getting too close to a car while driving !
