For business use I would buy this car again. For Private use where mileage is circa 10000 miles a year I would buy the Gti.
What are you likely to buy next?
At Company change would consider another Golf as well as Jaguar XE depending on reviews of Jaguar. Reliability and practicality more important than cost.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looking for a practical car for daily use which provided reasonable comfort, reliability, and performance.
What was the dealer like?
Dealer was excellent. Found the car I wanted from stock. All arranged and delivered within 3 weeks..Only negative was that the stock car had no extras.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Comfortable and sure footed. Electronic brake provides hill support , and stop start applies the brake automatically when stopped. Motorway driving is very safe as the car is sure footed in all conditions and the car has sufficient torque for safe overtaking.
What's it like to park?
Very easy. The rear window shows you accurately where the car ends .The bonnet provides the same for the front.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
I have done 31000 miles in 16 months. Car has been perfect. Though nothing has gone wrong I am disappointed by the air conditioning which is feeble in power when attempting to clear window screen of moisture in Mornings.
What's most practical about your car?
It is very reliable, provides sufficient room for 4 Adults, and is economical.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Adaptive Cruise Control absolutely brilliant on long journeys. It is not a gadget but the electronic brake just makes driving in town very easy .
