Not many gadgets on basic model - SE has alloys.

Not too brilliant about town! Seems to drink the petrol in those traffic jams compared to some other 1.0 cars.

Easy to drive, easy to park and goes like a little rocket on the motorway.

Pulls away quickly - surprisingly 'nippy' for a small engine.

VW are excellent - shame their dealers aren't. They really don't want to know after you've bought it!

Cambelt replaced during first year and tweaked again this year - whining engine - common in VWs.

Rear washer fault - all problems fixed under warranty with no arguments!
