What does this car say about you?

To be honest I don't really care. It's a cheap big car that I'll hopefully get a few years out of.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Everyone seems to like it. My mum couldn't quite believe how much car I got for the money.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I'd like to as it a good car. VW UK have put me off a little due to them not complying with their own 12 year corrosion warranty.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another Passat estate is quite likely. Also like the Audi A6 Avant.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think I got a good deal. Had a reasonable offer on my part ex which was a Fiesta with 103k miles and 2 weeks mot left.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a bigger and more refined car. The Passat seemed perfect, and for the money it pretty much is.

What was the dealer like?

Very helpful, not pushy at all. Haven't had to go back for anything other than the CD changer was faulty, which they rectified quickly.

What's it like to drive?

Very good to drive over long distances, the engine pulls very well in all gears and is pretty quiet inside. Not brilliant on country lanes, it handles a bit like a boat. But I have a feeling the cheap tyres may be partly to blame, I'll fit some better ones in the next month or two.

What's it like to park?

Big car with no parking sensors. I got used to it within a couple of days.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing other than the CD player which was fixed quickly. Had to have a rear spring and cv boot cover replaced for mot.

What's most practical about your car?

The boot is huge, ideal for me as I carry a lot of stuff around for work. It also has lots of great storage space in the dashboard.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

The electronic handbrake! Gets bad reviews, but if you use it correctly it's great. And frees up space between the front seats.
